I recently finished reading Too Big to Fail (A. Sorkin, 2009) which is the second book I've read this year-- the first being The Moral Landscape (S. Harris, 2010). Since yesterday's date was the 13th, my current cadence sets me up for a fun goal: reading at least one book every week of the year. I've toyed with the idea in the past, but my recent acquisition of a Kindle over Christmas has left me with no excuses.
I'm hoping to keep myself accountable using this website and I'll post my thoughts on the books here. Reflecting on how much time I spend idly scrolling on Reddit, I suspect there are many hours of the day that can be redirected towards this goal.
I'm currently reading How to Lie with Statistics (D. Huff, 1954) which, after reading the first chapter, promises to be a pretty casual and fun read. Next on the list is likely The Denial of Death (E. Becker, 1974).
Please, read along with me!
